We Survived the Power Shutdown

School Begins, Farm Changes too…
This week was going along calmly, then the weather forecast started looking sketchy. Now I'm publishing this blog with the generator running to give us electricity. We are on a planned shutdown due to extreme fire danger, low humidity, high winds, and high temps. Better to be safe than sorry! Enjoy! Amy
Summer is Almost Over
The Katahdin ewes we had for sale have headed on down the road to their new homes, Chickens are laying huge amounts of eggs averaging small to medium, and Shane's daughter Avery and her family came to visit. Such a great week! Enjoy! Amy
Things Are Picking Up Around the Farm!
Some sheep are about to leave, eggs are coming on like crazy and the garden is on the verge of lots of harvesting! As summer winds down, I only hope the weather continues to hold so the late garden can be harvested! Enjoy! Amy
