Homestead Happenings 2/5/23

Illness Strikes Again! Morgan was so kind to give me her illness over Christmas and now a month later I've succumbed again. Truth be told, I don't take great care of myself, as I try to take care of everyone else first. I'm trying to be better about it, but..... Saturday Shane's friend Alina took a few of us out hawking. Most things have been pretty quiet around here otherwise. Just trying to rest and get some laundry and dishes done as I go. The lambs are doing great, the adult sheep are doing great, the chickens are starting to amp up laying, and I'm about to get going on garden plans! Enjoy! Amy

This week we still have CALENDARS AVAILABLE, there's news on how the sheep auction went for us, the garden got some work done, had some amazing eggs, and the bobcat is back on Trailcam better than ever! Enjoy! Amy

Halloween, the Most Wonderful Day of the Year!

I have always loved Halloween! The dressing up, the spookiness, the weather (even when it rains). My daughter creates her own character based on her own creations that she animates on YouTube, and I am going to dress as Eddie Munson from Stranger Things with my Hellfire Club t-shirt. Rock on! This week we are starting to button down the sheep that are going, some chicken news, we cooked new-to-us food out of the garden, and a few other things. Enjoy the blog! Amy...
