March is the noticeable beginnings of Spring. Flowers have begun to bloom, lambs are growing fat on milk and creep feed as they approach weaning, and chickens are laying eggs all over the place (like my straw stack in the barn)! Enjoy! Amy

Homestead Happenings for February 2025
February is our calmest month on the ranch, however the weather has been crazy! It's too early to do a lot in the garden, though SOME things can be planted. Lambing is over and the baby lambs are so fun to watch! Enjoy! Amy
Nov/Dec 2024 Planting Guide – Zone 7/8
November and December are pretty quiet in the gardens. There's still a few things that can be planted though. Date guidelines are a combination of the Old Farmer's Almanac and a couple websites. Hope it helps! Amy
