2020 Breeding Group Photos

Photos are mostly not recent, but within a year or two. It gives you some idea of the rams and ewes though.

Registered St Croix Flock

  • Dasher

Dazzle has been sold. Most if not all offspring from this breeding will be sold as either Registered Breeding Stock or Market Stock.

Registered Katahdin Flock

  • Chief

  • Poppy
Poppy’s offspring will be high percentage Recorded Katahdin. Ewe lambs from this group will probably be kept for further evaluation as replacement ewes if born before Feb 1st. Only 1 ram lamb from the Registered flock will be considered for a breeding stock sale (also born before Feb 1st), the rest will be Market Stock. Anything born after February 1st will be sold Commercial only as there was a flock mix up during the Wildfires.

Recorded Katahdin Flock

  • Big Red
  • Magpie
  • Merla
  • Dahlia
  • Cicely
  • Flora
Flora is a Registered St Croix so will have 50/50 offspring. This entire group will be 50% Recorded Katahdin offspring in fact. Ewe lambs born before Feb 1st will be kept for evaluation as ewe replacements. Only 1 ram lambs born before Feb 1st (between this flock and Titan’s flock) will be considered for the breeding stock sale. After Feb 1st all will be Commercial sales or Market Stock.

Recorded Katahdin Flock 2

  • Titan

  • Sandy
Sookie and Sandy are sold and will be leaving soon. Sally and Colby will be having Recorded Katahdin lambs. Chances are high a Recorded Katahdin Ram Lamb will be selected from these ewes depending on quality.

Charlie’s Angels (Keeper ewe lamb flock)

Old Charlie is a pet wether born back in 2007. He was a bottle baby and is now a babysitter of keeper ewe lambs until he passes. Sandy’s daughter is a 50% Recorded Katahdin ewe lamb that we kept back to add to the Katahdin flock. She is going to be part of the upgrading program. Iris’s daughter is a 93% Recorded Katahdin ewe lamb that we kept back to add to the Commercial flock if she outperforms her sister Poppy.
