A Couple St Croix Lambed with Crossbred Babies! 1/22/21

Daphne, a Registered St Croix ewe, had twin 8lb Boys this morning. We bought her in August knowing she was bred during a ram escape so unsure who the sire is. Might make Commercial breeding stock for those who don’t care, or they’ll be market lambs.

Registered St Croix, Flora, had twins! 9lb ram lamb and 7lb ewe lamb out of Registered Katahdin ram, Big Red. Her first time having twins! She took care of them like a champ. It’s amazing how a crazy wild ewe suddenly becomes completely calm and docile at lambing. PS. Her dirty face is molasses haha.

Mine and my daughter’s reaction is funny! Sounded like a newbie haha.
