If you are new to raising sheep, or other livestock, let my lifetime of experience help you out! Get started on the right track and avoid many pitfalls that new ranchers sometimes run into. My entire life has been on this homestead where we’ve raised both wool and hair sheep, chickens, rabbits, the occasional goats or cattle, kept horses & llamas, and dabbled in geese. Pigs and ducks are about the only common livestock/poultry we haven’t kept here. My main source of consultation is in the world of sheep, however. Types of consultation questions would be in regards to animal health, reproduction, behavior, housing, etc.
When you buy sheep from us, you automatically get free consultation in person at the time of purchase. I also offer free phone consultations as well. Sometimes that may not be enough so I do offer on-site consulting within a 50-mile radius of my ranch. You pay me a fee (as stated in the chart below) as well as paying for fuel round trip.
