A “Wise Woman” was someone who used folk medicines, such as herbal remedies, to heal those around her.
I have a Diploma in Medical Assistant with Limited X-Ray and one in Massage Therapy. This is where my love of Medicine comes in. I’ve worked at a Naturopathic Dr Office since Nov 2007 (where I started as a Medical Assistant) and I’ve been a Licensed Massage Therapist (#16404) since June 2009 (however I had to stop working in March 2020 due to Covid-19 and caring for a high risk individual). I’m taking a break from doing hands on work, but still want to offer some healing services in the form of Herbal Remedies and Crystal Therapies in the future. Bear in mind that none of these therapies replace Western Medicine and you should always talk to your primary care physician for any medical issues. My therapies are merely supportive and not curative.
I began my learning of medicinal herbs around the time I started at the Naturopathic Doctor Office. I still consider myself a novice, but love knowing what I know! I am studying Intermediate Herbal Course with The Herbal Academy so that I may make herbal topicals for my customers. I also completed The Mushroom Course through this school and am Certified as having completed it.
I also plan to become a Certified Aromatherapist by taking the course from Heart of Herbs. I think blending my knowledge of herbs and mushrooms from the Herbal course with the aromatherapy in my products will be quite amazing!

I’ve been studying crystals and healing with them for at least the last 15-20 years. Much of the books and websites I’ve seen are ego driven, money making, scams, but there are a few I feel are much more realistic and worth the money. Much of what I purchased to learn or get “attuned” with back when I first started no longer speak to me. We are ever-changing beings after all!

I just graduated July 20, 2021 as a Certified Crystal Healer and graduated on November 15, 2021 as a Advanced Crystal Practitioner from Love & Light School of Crystal Therapy, which explains things in a more scientific way. I know my clients want to know WHY things work the way they do, and those courses will give me more of the background to explain it to them. I love science in a galactic way. Here is a video I made regarding Quartz Crystals versus my hand in melting an ice cube.
I’m also taking some courses from Hibiscus Moon Crystal Academy to complement what I’ve learned so far.
Please note that there is no statewide or federal recognition for courses that “certify” you in Crystal Healing. The Certification just indicates you took their course and passed a test. What should be important to you is that I’ve studied a lot of courses and ought to know my stuff! Also, just because I’ve taken a course doesn’t mean I follow it’s directives hook-line-and sinker. If something doesn’t feel right to me, I don’t do it, just as if it does feel right I will do it, whether I learned it in a course or not. I make treatments with crystals my own and tailor treatments to the client, not following a recipe. As I mentioned before I am actively licensed as a Massage Therapist (#16404) and I am also a Minister through the Universal Life Church and very qualified to legally do Crystal Therapies in either a Massage Therapy or Spiritual Healing capacity.
