In the midst of not having power and living off of take-out, soup, hotdogs, and camp coffee we had a nice surprise! Rosie, a Registered St Croix decided to finally give birth! Her friend Jazzy still hasn’t and I’m starting to think she won’t (though I’ll give her 2 more weeks before I call her a miss).

One of the last two Registered St Croix ewes, Rosie, gave birth to an 8lb ram lamb out of Registered St Croix ram, Dasher. Good thing all went well since we still had no electricity!
